He is survived by: his son Scott Massecar (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Madison, Brody and Logan; his great grandchild Marley; his siblings, Roxy Osier, Cathleen VanWart (Stephen) and Howard Massecar (Leslie); his sister-in-law Susan Harrison (Rick); and his close friend Karen LeBlanc.

Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
