He was predeceased by: his parent Edward Gordon. He is survived by: his children, Teri Ditzel (Keith), Pam Balfour and Denise Cosford (Al); his grandchildren, Matt (Mickey), Leigh, Andi, Derek (Alyssa) and Jenna; and his parent Mary Jane Balfour (Thomson). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
