He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack (Carol) of St. Thomas, Bill (Pat), Roy "Mack" and Murray Phillips; his sister-in-law Valerie Phillips; and his parents, Gordon Phillips and Jean Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Freida Phillips; his child Michele Milles (Tony) of St. Thomas; his grandchild Demetri Milles (Samantha) of Edmonton, AB.; and his parents-in-law, Doreen and Wayne Hennigar of London. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
