He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Dowson and Joan Dowson (Parrish). He is survived by: his spouse Gerarda "Gerry" Dowson (Coenjarts); his children, Tracy Roy (Bud) and Mike Dowson (Angela); his grandchildren, Nathan, Breanna, MacKenzie, Emily, Braylen and Avery; his siblings, Paula Elliott and Will Dowson (Toni); and his close friend Bo.
Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held.
