He was predeceased by: his sons, Kenneth and Jeffrey; his siblings, Ken, Shannon and Brenda; and his parents, Kenneth Hamilton and Vera Hamilton (Bowles).
He is survived by: his son Robert Hamilton Jr. (Wendy); and his stepsons, Mike Bloomfield (Gail Brodie) and Maurice Thompson (Jennifer). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
