He is survived by: his spouse Jannetje "Jenn" Laursen (Metselaar); his children, Kim Mawson (Joe) and Kelly Dortmans (Tony); his stepchildren, Greg Schaafsma, Melissa Leydekkers (Derek) and Lindsay Capra (Adrian); his grandchildren, Madison Poirier (Taylor), Ben Mawson (Ashleigh), McKenzie Mawson (Cole), Luke, Keith Dortmans, Parker Leydekkers, Aria and Luca Capra; his great grandchild Olivia Poirier; his brother Victor Laursen (Grace); and his siblings-in-law, Hermanna VanLeeuwen (Peter), Dick Metselaar (Tina), Henrietta Luiting (Ben), Nick Jonkman (Jessie) and Sheryl Russell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
