She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lila Flavin (late Bill), Ida Humphries (Floyd), Jerry Freeman (late Marion), Robert Freeman (late Isabel), Alvah Freeman and Arthur Freeman (late Ruth); and her parents, Arthur B. Freeman and Hazel Freeman (Anger).

She is survived by: her husband Neil Irons; her children, Robin Margaret (Barry Cott), Nancy Irons-Murray (Joe Murray), Joanne Irons (Chris McGann), Dan Irons (Sue) and James Irons (Mary Jeanne Barrett); her grandchildren, Sara, Rebecca, Michael, Andrew, Julie, Hansu, Nicolas, Ness, Yunsu, William and A. J. Dear; and her siblings, Ken Freeman (Brenda) and Laura McCallum (late Hugh). She is also survived by two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
