She was predeceased by: her siblings, Pauline Laverty and Richard Laverty; and her parents, William "Bill" Laverty and Mary Fidelma (Delma). She is survived by: her husband Alan Hinatsu; her children, Claire Hinatsu (Cole Volkaert) and Kyomi Fawcett (Kevin); and her siblings, Marie Ewald (Hans), John Laverty (Deb) and Una Duncan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Masonic Centre of Elgin (42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St Thomas, ON N5P3S9).
