As Nick departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nick may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nick leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nick Thiessen of St. Thomas and Anne Thiessen (Harder); and his siblings, Angie Loewen (Jake) of Aylmer, Adam Thiessen of Orwell and Bill Thiessen (Jodi) of Orwell. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
