He was predeceased by: his children, Barb Donaldson (Paul) and Gerald Parish; his siblings, Ruth McCarthy (late Joe), Robert "Bob" Parish (Susan), Keith Parish (late Marie), Frank Parish (late Marg) and Larry Parish (Phoebe); and his parents, Benjamin Parish and Phyllis Parish (Marsh).
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Parish (Pollard); his children, Dianne Jewitt (Charles), Brian Parish, Kevin Parish, Roger Parish (Patty) and Cynthia Parish (Steve); his grandchildren, Bonnie, Chad, Natasha, Scott and Katie; his siblings, Jim Parish (Paulina), Don Parish (Marleen), Tom Parish (Carol) and Pauline Lees (Juri); and his sister-in-law Isabel Reid. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Social distancing practices must be followed and masks must be worn in the building.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Elgin or charity of one's choice.
