He was predeceased by: his spouse June North; his siblings, Florence McBain, Pauline McRae, Sandra "Toni" Wright, Jeanne Macdonald, Charles North and Dennis North; and his parents, Charles North and Nellie North.

He is survived by: his children, Brian North (Debbie) of Wallacetown and Charles North (Sandy "Sam" Jones) of St. Thomas; and his siblings, Barbara Cook of Port Stanley, Jacqueline North of St. Thomas, Terrance North (Ruth) and Port Stanley. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
