He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Zavitz (Karr); his sons, Phil, Karl and Kenny; his siblings, Ron, Murray, Marvin, Jack, Bill, Russell, Harold, Margaret and Dorothy; and his parents, Archie Zavitz and Vera Zavitz (Turpin).
He is survived by: his children, Norm (late Darlene) of Belmont, Rick (Karen) of Pueblo West, Colorado, Greg (Jennifer) of Taber and Alberta; his daughter-in-law Rose of St. Thomas; and his siblings, Lloyd Zavitz, Betty Simpson, Jean Demery, Hazel Hunter, Barb Charron and Linda Crummy. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
