She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mathews and Jamila Mathews. She is survived by: her spouse Vinod K. "Vino" Sabharwal; her children, Robert Sabharwal of Boston, MA and Nadia Hartford (René) of St. Thomas; her grandson Rocco Hartford of St. Thomas; and her sibling Edmon Mathyous (Suham Thom) of Windsor.

Memorial donations to the St. Thomas Elgin Food Bank will be gratefully acknowledged.
