She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Kim; and her parents, Wallace Ross and Florence Ross (Neive). She is survived by: her husband Bud Garton; her children, Rhonda Walcarius (Eldon) of Port Burwell, Mike of Lyons, Kelly Rapelje (George) of Sparta and Jay (Tina) of Aylmer; and her siblings, William Ross, Robert Ross, Sandra Tichelaar and Betty Moyer. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
