She was predeceased by: her husband Roy LaForge; her sibling Morley Simpson; and her parents, Jack Simpson and Mabel Simpson (Dennis). She is survived by: her children, James (Linda), Joseph (Anne), Sharon (Ron Rumble), Deborah (Phil Hyatt), Barbara LaForge (Paul Hyatt), Susan (Dave Walsh) and Janet (Chris Heil). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.

Due to Covid-19 a private family service will be held on Thursday afternoon, with interment to follow in Union Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.
