She was predeceased by: her spouse Cornelis Van Dyk; her son Cor Van Dyk; her brother Martin Speelman; and her parents, Pieter Speelman and Maartje Speelman.
She is survived by: her children, Arie Van Dyk (Helen) of St. Thomas, Pieter Van Dyk (Leona) of St. Thomas, John Van Dyk (Freda) of St. Thomas and Jane Van Dyk (Terry Shannon) of Toronto; and her siblings, Ronnie VanKempen, Wilhelmina Vandergeest, Joanne Mantel, Ina Hoogstra, John Speelman (Corrie), Lydia De Ruiter, Arie Speelman and Mary Gibbons (Doug).
