She was predeceased by: her daughter Sheila Brooks; her stepsons, Wayne and Terry Forbes; and her siblings, Robert Braund, Donald Braund, Norma Dalpe, Audrey Showers and Elaine LeFave.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Andrew Burton (Mary), Kris Burton (Patricia Slattery), Lucille Dickson (Roy) and Lorraine Hamilton (Peter McLean); and her daughter-in-law Sandra Forbes. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and her many great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 a private family funeral will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army Citadel St. Thomas or the Alzheimer Society Elgin-St. Thomas would be appreciated.
