We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2023, at the age of 81, Loring Guilford Sturk (Saint-Thomas, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his son Ted (Shelly); his grandsons, Clayton and Nicholas; his siblings, Michael, Sandra (Calgary), Joan (Halifax) and Lis (Idaho); and also, Clayton and Nicholas.

In lieu of flowers, donations to North Hastings Hospital, Back the Cat campaign would be greatfully appreciated.

“Deepest condolences to all our friends and family who have had the pleasure to know my “Uncle Willy”. Although I didn’t see him often as an adult, I still treasure the memory of bass fishing with him as a child. I loved his wit and sense of humour. He will no doubt be missed by all who knew him.”
