He is survived by: his spouse Rosemary Player (Lidster); his children, Mary Ellen McDermid (Robert), Tammy McGregor (Jeremy McKenzie) and Craig Player (Melissa); his sibling Lil Fleming; his mother-in-law Ruth Lidster (Lethbridge); his siblings-in-law, Judy Buffone (Gino) and Ron Lidster (Chris); and his parent Rovena Player (Sharkey).
Memorial donations may be made to the St Thomas-Elgin V.O.N. or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
