He is survived by: his spouse Susana Ens (Friesen); his children, Joanne Blatz (John) of Mount Salem, Linda Enns (Aron) of Springfield and Gary Ens (Jennifer) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Emily, Ella, Ryan, Simon, Sophie, Caleb, Ivan, Leah, Chloe, Madison and Cameron; his siblings, Anna Ens, Isaac Ens (Netty), Katharina Beuckert (Heinrich), Peter Ens (Margaret), Jake Ens (Netty) and Gerhard Ens (Traude); and his parent Anna Ens (Wall). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
