He was predeceased by: his partner Kenda-Rae Axford; and his parents, Robert Burgess and Betty Burgess (Weir). He is survived by: his children, Shelley Thomas (Derek) and Shaun Burgess (Ali); his grandchildren, Blake, Luke, Will and Kaye; and his siblings, Bob (Darlene), Terry (Kris), Susan Burgess (Dennis) and Mike (Theresa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Animal Aide and the London Regional Cancer Centre.
