He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Elizabeth Loewen (Fehr); his children, Isaac Loewen (Tina), Rick Loewen (Tina), John Loewen (Kim), Elizabeth Loewen Does, Annie Schmitt (Neil), Maria Langille (Christopher), Judy Ternipolski (Chris) and Jake Loewen (Lena); his siblings, Diedrich (Anna), Abe Loewen (Anna) and Henry Loewen (Margaret); and his parents, Diedrich Loewen and Judith Loewen (Klassen). He was also cherished by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
