Joan Scott Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Scott of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher Scott; and her parents, Gladys Jenks and Edwin Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Trevor Balogh (Sheila), Jennifer Balogh (Tyler) and Steve Balogh; her grandchildren, Nick Cann, Felicia Cann, Justin Balogh (Jennie) and Corianne Balogh; and her great grandchild Addison Balogh.
