Janet Venus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Venus of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Venus to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, LeRoy, Thomas and Timothy Scanlan; and her father Allen Scanlan. She is survived by: her husband Jim Venus; her children, David (Tem), Donald, Nick, Tosha Parker (Wayne Bolbt), Ryan and Lindsay Venus; her sibling Jean Oud (Bill); and her mother Barbara Jean Scanlan (Ralf).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Remembrances may be made to the Stroke Unit of the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital.
