James Smetheram Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James Smetheram (Saint-Thomas, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Smetheram; his daughter Emily Elizabeth; his brother William "Bill" Smetheram (Ollie); his siblings-in-law, Gregory Lane (Sarah) and Deborah Corner; and his parents, Rev. William P. Smetheram and Elizabeth Smetheram (Johnson).
He is survived by: his child Stacey (Devin Ward); his grandchildren, Emily (Jack), Grace and Joshua Ward; his sister Evelyn Moore (Don); his sister-in-law Sharon Larmour (Larry); and his friends, Alan and Debbie Wiggin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation (Integrated Stroke Unit), Hospice of Elgin or the Port Stanley United Church.
