He is survived by: his children, Scott Ferguson (Sandy), Deborah M. Ferguson-Newman (Ken Patterson) and Currie J. Ferguson (Tammy); his grandchildren, Julia M. Ferguson, Adam J. Szczechura, Jacob J. Szczechura, Nicholas B. Newman, Cynthia J. Newman, Alexander Kyle Ferguson, Michaela A. Ferguson, Braiden C. Ferguson, Jenna I. Ferguson and Darren J. Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Carter, Nyla, Isaac and Coraline; his sibling Phyllis Marilyn Ferguson; his godchildren, Jeremy Locke and Jennifer Fraser; and his parent Julia Ferguson (Newson).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to St. James Presbyterian Church.
