He is survived by: his wife Katherine Friesen (Siemens); his sons, Tim (Michelle) of Emo and Dan (Amme) of Strathroy; his grandchildren, Brody, Emma, Kyra and Brenna; his sisters, Ann, Mary and Agatha; and his nephew Wesley.
