She was predeceased by: her son Alan; her parents, William Fournie and Verna Fournie; and her brothers, Harold and Ken Fournie.
She is survived by: her husband James Carswell (Jim); her children, Rick (Donna), Rob (Chris), Ken and Susan; and her siblings, Jean Hanley, Marlene Gregory, Bob, Bill and Dave Fournie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario.
