He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Anne Freed (Hough); his child Gillian Freed; and his parents, Bernt Freed and Norma Freed. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Oldridge (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Chelsey, Ashley, Devon and Shannon. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
