It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helena Wingerina Luong of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, born in Kamloops, British Columbia, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pieter Vandenberg and Tine Vandenberg. She is survived by: her spouse An Luong; her children, Leith Luong, Laina Visser (Eric), James Luong (Diem), Hanh Deakin (Michael), Laya Birtch (Josh), Hanna Korvemaker (Ian), Pieter Luong (Shannon), Paul Luong and Emma-Lee Zekveld (Jordan); and her brother William Vandenberg (Veronica). She is also survived by her 26 grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Elmdale Cemetery with interment to follow.
