He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion I. Gillard (Lawton); his brother Bud Gillard; and his parents, Douglas Gillard and Emma Gillard (Tarr). He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ward (Malcolm) and Ann Detta (Steve); his grandchildren, Douglas, Devin, Joseph, Alison, Aaron and Richard; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Grace, Josh, Ryan, Brett, Travis, Brea and Hazel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
