He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Arlene McGugan; his children, John McGugan (Cory), Rita MacGinnis (Hugh), Jeff McGugan (Terra), Amy, Jennifer McGugan (James) and Lisa Babcock (Bryan); his siblings, Gary McGugan (Jene) and Betty Jones (Tom); and his parents, William McGugan and Bertha McGugan (Wright). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
