She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Edward "Ted" Simpson; her parents, Alexander Hewson and Margaret Hewson; her great grandchild Michael Robertson; and her siblings, John, Archie Hewson, Muriel Dowson and Iva Hewson.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Matthews of St. Thomas and Thomas E. "Tom" Simpson (Patricia) of St. Thomas; and her brother Martin Hewson of Dunchurch, ON.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada will be gratefully acknowledged.
