He was predeceased by: his son Paul Vanderwyst (Angie); his siblings, William "Bill" Vanderwyst (Trudy) and Catharine Vanderwyst; and his parents, Peter Vanderwyst and Antonia Vanderwyst (Rovers).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Vanderwyst (Van Gorp); his children, Anne Marie Radford (Daren) and Peter Vanderwyst; his grandchildren, Chris, Garrett, Nick, Libby, Thomas, Aiden and Greyson; and his siblings, Ria Vandenbroek (late Peter) and Lambert Vanderwyst (Alba). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
