He was predeceased by: his brother Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Andrew (Meaghan) and Erinn; his grandchildren, Aayden and Gavin Sinker; his parents, George Sinker and Sandra Sinker; and his sisters, Suzanne Gautreau (James), Karen Bolton and Kathleen Branton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate and share good memories of Garth's life will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
