He was predeceased by: his brother Paul; and his parents, Franz Trittler and Sophie Trittler (Rathgeb). He is survived by: his spouse Maartje Trittler (Steenis); his children, Maria Gough (Andrew) and Paul; and his sibling Antonie Philipp.
