It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Virginia Powell of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, born in Carbonear, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Boyd Powell; her parents, Chester Taylor and Beatrice Taylor (Hodder); and her birth mother Charlotte Clark. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Brown (Paul), Cynthia Littlejohn (Tom), Chester Powell (Lisa), Jeff Powell (Tammy) and Kattie Usher (Sean); and her siblings, Bill Taylor (Emily) and Audrey Decker (Clay). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
