With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleonora DeVries of Saint-Thomas, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleonora left this world on March 28, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Leny Van Dorp and Gerrie Kingswood; her parents, George VanderKooy and Elisabeth VanderKooy; and also Jaron Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" DeVries; her siblings, Nicole, Kenen Delic, Danielle, Nick VanBerlo (Clark), Madison DeVries, Taylor Kirchknopf, Faith Devries and Susan Williams (Ty); her nieces and nephews, Sharon, Matthew Lepak, Adam, Kathy Hindley (Mincy), McKenzy, Nathan Blundon (Wynonna), Cassidy Williams, Jared Tucker and Cindy Baker (David Feddema); her caregiver Elly; and also Kyra Baker (Burkley Anderson).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Junction Church (320 Elm St, St Thomas, ON N5R1J7).
