He was predeceased by: his sister Janet Whalls (W. Joseph); and his parents, Donald Freeman and Laura Freeman. He is survived by: his significant other Donna Taylor; his children, Elaine Chantler (John), James "Jim" Freeman (late Laurie), David Freeman (Jennifer) and Michael Freeman (Anna); and his brother Robert W. "Butch" Freeman (Donna). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada will be gratefully acknowledged.
