He was predeceased by: his siblings, Art, Johnny, Joey and Hilda; and his father Leo Daoust.
He is survived by: his children, Helene Honsberger, Della Rose Ford and Richard Daoust (Selena); his granddaughter Amber Daoust; his great grandchild Austin; his granddaughter Danielle Bennett (Sean); his great grandchildren, Lauren, Allie, Megan Villamor, Phillip Nolan (Danielle), Christina Rose Mitchell, Isabela Nolan, Ethan Ford, Michael Ford, Brandon Daoust and Alyssa Daoust; his siblings, Margaret Gauthier (late Guy), Max Daoust (Sandra), Bennie Daoust (Gail), Karen Messier (Rene), Leo Daoust, Linda Vanier (late Danny) and Andy Daoust (Linda); his close friend Laurie Nolan; and also, Jeff Mitchell and Ryan Ford.
