Beloved husband of the late Lois Eileen (Reed) Thrupp (2016) and dearly loved father of the late Deborah Palmer, Brian Thrupp Jr., Douglas 'Doug" Thrupp (Sheila), Bradley "Brad" Thrupp (Christie) and Kim Edwards (Scot). Loved grandfather of Brenda, Heather, Derek, Sarah and Cassandra. Dear brother of Marguerite and Keith Giles. Predeceased by a brother Tony. Sadly missed by a number of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Brian was born in England on February 10th, 1932, the son of the late Sidney and Agnes Giles. Brian was retired. He worked 30 years as a meter reader with the P.U.C. and then was in charge of the swimming pools and arenas for the City of London. He serviced in the Navy and was a former member of the Goderich Legion. A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Saturday, March 10th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society. The family would like to thank everyone at Valleyview Nursing Home for their amazing care and compassion for Brian and his wife Lois over the years.
