We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2022, Christina Wilhelmina Van Oene of Saint-Thomas, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Willem "Bill" Van Oene; her siblings, Ben Pennings, Henk Pennings (Gerda), Jan Pennings and Wilma De Jong (late Jack); and her sisters-in-law, Alie Steyn, Hennie Pennings and Guss Rook.
She is survived by: her children, John Van Oene (Stacy Steen) of Grand Rapids, Martin Van Oene of Grimsby and Audrey Van Oene (Erik Kooyer) of Grand Rapids; her grandchild Kaile Videtich (Ben); her great grandchildren, Silas, Maelin and Junia; her grandchildren, Luke Van Oene, Zeke, Calvin and Pieter Kooyer; her siblings, Bertha De Jong (late Fred), John Pennings (Mary), Bill Pennings (Sara), Gary Pennings (Ineke) and Albert Pennings (Annette); and her sister-in-law Wil Voerman (late Henk). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
