It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christian Pennings (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), born in Belmont, Ontario, who passed away on March 2, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Henriette Pennings (Hennie); his children, Bernie Pennings (Ina) of Iona, Margaret Jonkman (Cope) of Harrisburg, Ray Pennings (Kathy) of Ottawa and Rosemary Koomans (Brian) of Chatham; his siblings, Ben Pennings, Henk Pennings (Gerda), Wilma DeJong, Christine Van Oene, Bertha DeJong, John Pennings (Mary), Gary Pennings (Ineke), William Pennings (Sarah) and Albert Pennings (Annette); and his parents, John Bernard and Johanna Hendrika Pennings. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
