She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Jeremy and Gordon; and her parents, Frank Smith and Myrtle Smith (Reid). She is survived by: her children, Richard Brown (Jill Edwards), Wendy Herrett, Edward Brown (Judy) and Robert Brown (Anne Marie); her grandchildren, Mark (Lisa), Angela, Adam (Deberah), Lisa, Chris, Stephanie, Alyssa and Shaylin; and her great grandchildren, Jessica, Breanna, Seth, Tayler, Preston, Bella, Jenna and Harrison.
