He was predeceased by: his son Benjamin Parkins; his granddaughter Ruby; his brother Ronnie Parkins; and his parents, Ronald Parkins and Jean Parkins (Lawrence).
He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Parkins; his son Joel Parkins; his grandchildren, Zachery, Hunter, Ben, Hank, Luke, Lily and Nora; and his sister Holly Rycroft (Bruce).
