He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack Abell and Ken Abell (Marian); and his parent Ray Abell. He is survived by: his spouse Bernice Abell (Davis); his children, Julie of Aylmer, Sandra (Joe Valerio) of London, Sharon Russell (late Dave) of Calton and Mike Abell (Wendy) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Andrea (Mark), Andrew (Swetha), Steven, Bethany, Matthew, Sandy, Michael (Mairead), Brittany, Christopher, Daniel and Marcus; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Marshall and Addelyn; his sibling-in-law Ruby Abell; and his parent Reba Abell (Gillett).
