She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Axford; her grandsons, Nathaniel and Andrew; her sisters, Esther Humphrey, Trudy Waldie, Lillian Laidlaw and Helen Schwarz; and her parents, George Laidlaw and Maud Laidlaw (Phelps).
She is survived by: her children, Paula Van Brenk (Ron), Dallas Axford (Marjorie) and Derek Axford (Kendra); her grandchildren, John Malik (Yulin Deng), Paul Malik (Rachel Kalap), Miles Malik, Brennan Van Brenk (Kylie Willis), Emily Morrison (Tanner), Erin Axford, Brienna, David and Joelle Axford; and her great grandchildren, Jax Malik and Max Malik. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
