She was predeceased by: her stepdaughter Lynne McDonald (Gordon) of London; and her parents, Warren Allen and Helen Allen. She is survived by: her husband William G. "Bill" Mercer; her stepson Brian Mercer (Becky) of Exeter; her grandchildren, Wade McDonald (Jessica), Brett McDonald (Mckensey), Cole McDonald (Nimi), Carly Mercer (Reid), Cayley Mercer and Cullen Mercer (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Daxton and Penelope McDonald.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of one's choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
