He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Norma Palmer (Rickwood); his children, John Palmer (Eleisha), Karen Phillips and Fred Palmer (Rosemary); his grandchildren, Craig, Ryan, Mark, Max Palmer, Belinda Thorpe (Phillips), Amanda Smith and Nykole Crevits; his siblings, Helen Koyle and Leroy Palmer; and his parents, John "Huck" and Margaret Palmer (Kelly). He was also cherished by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
