He was predeceased by: his wife T. Ruth Freeman (Watson); his son David Arthur Freeman; and his siblings, Lila Flavin (late Bill), Ida Humphries (Floyd), Jerry Freeman (late Marion), Robert Freeman (late Isabel) and Richard Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Funnell, Terry Kincaid (Ken Jackson) and Todd Freeman (Valerie); his grandchildren, Cory Funnell (Michelle), Shawn Funnell (Erica), Brandon Funnell, Emilee Gauld (Colby), Megan Freeman (Jason McVittie), Sophie Haynes (Jason) and Beau Freeman (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Jake, Chloë, Sydney, Carter, Hank, Violet, Rowan, Letty, Finlay and Parker; his siblings, Patricia Irons (Neil), Ken Freeman (Brenda) and Laura McCallum (late Hugh); and his brother-in-law Jim Trueman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit).
